Good Neighbor Policy
Seed has worked to develop community partners that we support and sponsor to create a better neighborhood. We endeavor to be a good neighbor in the communities where we operate. In addition to maintaining compliance with all state and local laws, we strive to act responsibly, professionally and with empathy.
Chica Project
Chica Project started in 2011 with a goal of developing a strength-based youth leadership program that was rooted in cultural competency and the celebration of Latino culture.
Hyde Square Task Force
Hyde Square Task Force engages over 800 youth ages 6–25 in college and career preparation, Afro-Latin arts and cultural enrichment, and community-building initiatives. The organization preserves the voices and cultures that are valued and celebrated in Boston’s Latin Quarter and beyond.
JP Music Fest
The Jamaica Plain Music Festival is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, incorporated in Massachusetts, which assembles a convergence of musical genres, drawing upon the wide-ranging artistic community living in this part of Boston. The festival is fully inclusive and will prove to be a vibrant celebration of the music which is so alive in Jamaica Plain.
Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Development Corp.
Based in Jamaica Plain, Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Development Corp. envisions an equitable and inclusive Boston in which all people have access to secure housing, economic prosperity, safe and vibrant neighborhoods, political power, and opportunities to fulfill their potential.
Mildred Hailey Tenants Task Force
Mildred Hailey Tenants Task Force works with residents to create a new tenant organization to address their top concerns: safety, conditions, and positive youth opportunities.
Latin Quarter World’s Fair
The LQWF is organized by local activists, artists, organizations, youth, residents, and merchants who are committed to creating an event that represents the spirt of the Latin Quarter while ensuring the planning process is inclusive of the current communities esteemed input.
Regan Youth League
Regan Youth League provides boys and girls of Jamaica Plain and the surrounding communities with the opportunity to play organized baseball and softball in an open, safe, and friendly environment.
Tinlin Family Gold Tournament to Support to Brain Aneurysm Foundation
Thomas J Tinlin, former Mass DOT manager, created the First Annual Tinlin Family 18 for 18 to help raise awareness and funds to combat this devastating disease. The Brain Aneurysm Foundation has a tax-exempt status as a public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service.
